Invitation to apply for the Ethics in Finance-Robin Cosgrove Prize

Dear ECRC supporters,

ECRC partner, Observatoire de la Finance, is writing concerning its Ethics in Finance-Robin Cosgrove Prize. As you may already know, they have launched the third edition of the global Ethics in Finance-Robin Cosgrove Prize in London on April 20 and the second edition of the regional Etica en las Finanzas - Premio Robin Cosgrove, targeted to Ibero-America, in Madrid on May 6.

The website operates now in 4 languages - English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. The Prize awards prize money of USD20,000 for creative and unpublished papers setting out innovative ideas to promote ethics in finance. Papers are accepted in English and French for the global edition and in Spanish and Portuguese for the ibero-american edition. Young professionals and advanced students, aged 35 years or younger, can submit a paper before the deadline of 31st March 2011.

By encouraging young professionals to examine their own attitudes and behaviour, the Robin Cosgrove Prize promotes sustainable ways for encouraging higher standards of ethics in all aspects of finance.

For the 2008-09 Prize we had applicants from 67 countries, and we hope to have even more for this new 2010-2011 edition.

Please encourage the dissemination of this invitation to apply. Your support for the Prize will help make the Robin Cosgrove Prize a reality and supports its growth.

Many thanks,

Sibilla La Spina
Prize Administrator
